Devin + Bryant | Their Sedona Getaway
We are beyond thrilled to say we filmed our very first Sedona wedding this past weekend. The drive alone had us in awe and to say the venue was beautiful would be an understatement to say the least.
Sunday started out with morning rain and the promise of more to come. We were all praying it would stop long enough for the ceremony to take place as planned outside by the beautiful creek, but there was a back up plan if needed.
We went to go check in on the stunning Bride, Devin, to see how she was doing. Even with the unpredictable weather, she was calm knowing that at the end of the day everything was going to work out and it was going to be a perfect day. She was completely tranquil and at ease.
Next we went to see how the Groom, Bryant, was doing. Amazingly enough he was just as composed as Devin. He too had an astounding attitude and really believed that it was not going to rain during their ceremony.
As 4pm started to creep up on us the sky darkened and the clouds decided to spit little drops of rain. Everyone was still being optimistic, the guests started to arrive and seating began. We set up our cameras and were in place for the ceremony to start. I’m not even joshing you, once the music started the clouds opened up and the sun decided to shine through. The sun lit up the entire area and the sun peaked through the trees. The outcome was spectacular lighting and an answer to prayers. Devin and Bryant, this truly was God shinning his light down on you.
Once the ceremony was complete the photographers had just enough sun light to get some amazing family shots and then the sun decided to hide again and the rain came back. The Bride and Groom were such troopers, let me tell you we were all bundled up trying to stay warm and dry while Devin and Bryant made it look easy being so photogenic!
Pictures were done and it was party time! Dinner was served; the Bride and Groom actually took their time eating, kudos to you guys! This never happens and we thought it was really astonishing that you took the time to enjoy the amazing food.
When everyone was done enjoying the splendid food the live band, that is right, I said LIVE band, started playing romantic classics. From that point on it was a non stop party! The dance floor was completely full from start to end! What a great night!
Devin and Bryant, we feel truly blessed that we were able to be a part of your spectacular day. Thank you guys so much for wonderful hearts and for choosing us to capture one of the most important days in your life.
